Bus Sign

A tall and condensed sans serif, inspired by early 1900s UK transport signage. The font draws from the bus signs of double-decker rollers, which were mounted on the front of buses to inform passengers of the route. Its structure and overall aesthetic capture the essence of the original signage, while modern detailing and colour make it a more robust typeface for contemporary use.

Designed as a display font for large-format print or headlines, it features a high x-height that ensures consistent legibility across all scales and weights. Playful and bold Bus sign has origins spanning over a hundred years yet still feels modern in a digital age.
