What can we do for you?

Founded in 2017 by Alister Shapley, asdesign is a small design studio specialising in visual identities and typography.

Alister worked on visual identities, developing brands, printed publications and websites in the construction sector for almost a decade, before setting off on a new journey with asdesign.

​

He cultivated a passion for print and typography at Edinburgh College of Art, and brings a unique perspective on graphic design stems and a knowledge of brief writing to the design process.

We don’t limit ourselves to specific sectors. Our wide range of clients include textile artists, bike shop owners and large multinational corporations. We love variety!

What makes us different?

We explore our own ideas and we’re constantly evolving, from creating our own fonts to screen printed art collections. Some have even been exhibited in galleries and art fairs such as the Mostyn Gallery Wales and Hepworth Gallery Wakefield.
